Summary:

Joining our clients’ dynamic team reporting directly to the Director, Enterprise Applications & Business Process, the Senior Enterprise Applications Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of desktop software, associated server software, and business solutions within our firm. You'll be instrumental in maintaining our mission-critical applications, while upholding our commitment to providing exceptional service to our attorneys, advisors, and staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and continual improvement in alignment with our Firm's Core Values.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead regression testing methods, scripts, and operational tracking for our critical applications, ensuring timely issue resolution.
  • Drive the design, implementation, integration, deployment, and support of new Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) desktop and server business-facing applications.
  • Ensure seamless testing, implementation, and transition to production/steady-state operating environments.
  • Act as a technical analyst, overseeing complex, multi-phase server application integration and implementation projects across departments.
  • Develop comprehensive engineering specifications and documentation as needed.
  • Effectively communicate project status and key information to management and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide third-level escalation help desk support for department software service catalog.
  • Serve as the System Engineer for business-facing desktop and server-based firm applications, collaborating with Desktop Engineers as necessary.
  • Uphold industry best practices by employing a structured Software Development Life Cycle methodology, encompassing design, development, testing, and deployment of server applications.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with iManage or similar Document Management System preferred.
  • Familiarity with Intapp product suite is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in:
  • Microsoft operating systems and configuration.
  • Network connectivity and analysis.
  • Software configuration, analysis, and implementation.
  • Microsoft Office desktop environment administration and architecture.
  • Document Management application methods, including third-party integrations.
  • SQL Database environments, with basic understanding of SQL syntax and queries.
  • Legal COTS Applications.
  • Ability to define project scope and objectives based on business requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands.
  • Strong service orientation and the capacity to cultivate effective relationships with peers, management, system users, and other business partners within the organization.
